The Prime Minister's Office Library has more than 52 thousands reading materials. The library materials are arranged under Dewey Decimal Classification System. More than 26 thousands books have been entered in the online library management system.
Bangladesh faces substantial downside risks from the interface of its deltaic geographical configuration, high population density, and regular episodes of a range of natural disasters including flooding, river bank erosion, sea level rise, salinity intrusion, tidal surge, cyclones and water-logging. The library has a collection of 1,42,913 items of information materials. Among the materials, 1,25,066 and 17,847 are books and bound periodicals respectively. Besides, 141 titles are in the current subscription list of journals. The library is fully automated along with a web site provision, which can be found here.
